In Search of a George Cross
(Conclusion)
We’re looking for the story of how 14-year-old Robert Thomas (Bobby) Waters earned his George Cross, the second highest award for valour in the British Commonwealth, following the crash of an RCAF bomber in November 1952.
At that time he was its youngest recipient.
Thanks to Google and newspapers.com, so far so good—but no cigar.
The conclusion to this mystery which first presented itself to me in 2007, in next week’s BC Chronicles.
